Slow growth for 1 twin

24 .5 weeks, twins, 47yo, plenty of fibroids, donor egg (28 yo), 3 embryos reduced to 2 in T1

My echo yesterday showed that while my daughter is growing nicely (72nd percentile), my son’s growth has slowed down massively (40th-> 6th percentile). This is worrisome and may have 2 main reasons:

1- chromosomes problem: however, NIPT was negative, and while head and legs are smaller, belly and brain are normal size, and echo shows normal features. Some of the Drs are very wary about an amnio at this time, where others think it is the way to go.

2- placenta vascular wiring problem or fibroids restricting blood flow inside the placenta. Not sure if there is anything to be done to affect that (better sleep? More rest? Eating more blood enriching food and drinking more water? I already take iron supplements and my levels are fine).

has anyone been in this situation before and has thoughts on what to do or where to dig further? The idea of having to induce very very early is super worrisome.

There's several Facebook groups for parents of multiples, so it might be worth joining them and posting there as you're more likely to find someone who's had an experience like yours. I'm so sorry about what you're going through and can only imagine the worry and fears. I pray it's all okay for you all.
