Hi all,This is my second cycle of IVF and kind of our last hope. I'm 45 and have lost 3 babies all conceived naturally, 1 Edwards and 2 miscarriages. My first cycle off IVF last year failed as the embryos didn't make it past day 3. This time I took loads of supplements and had 4 good embryos, 2 were transferred fresh on day 3. I'm now 13 days post transfer and got BFP yesterday and today but had some cramping and wiped blood this morning. I'm absolutely terrified, I've been reading some of the posts and I didn't realise early bleeding in IVF is common. This has calmed me down a bit but I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and still went on to have a healthy baby? On a side note the Utrogestan pessaries have me terrible thrush and I have having a nightmare with weeing so I switched to cyclogest in my behind and it's eased, but I was wondering if this has impacted it or maybe I'm not absorbing enough progesterone that way?! I know I'm probably overthinking it! My blood test at the clinic is tomorrow so hopefully the levels offer some reassurance.

Wishing you all the best. Everything will go on well by God's grace. xx
Hi Shellm
Hoping this bleed settles. Contact the clinic and ask for progesterone level. Maybe they can suggest increasing the cyclogest dose and adding lubion if low.
All the best xxx
Hi Shellm. Unfortunately, the can happen and often does.you could have a bit of an infection, so drink plenty of water and be careful not to get constipated. Could even be irritation from pessaries use, so try them in yout back passage for a few days.remember there’s more than one inside, so hopefully, you’ll still in with a chance. Good luck. Diane
Hey, congratulations! What's the bleeding like? I had brown bleeding more like spotting, but heavier than just spotting, with my successful (although not live birth yet, I'm 17 weeks and going strong)! I've had it a few times, one early on which I'm pretty sure was implantation bleeding (which I'd never had with any unsuccessful!). Then a bit more a couple of weeks later... At the first scan (7 weeks) they found a heamatoma, so likely the cause of the bleeding. I've had a bit more and the haematoma hadn't gone by thr next scan, and then again and this time they can't see the heamtoma. So hopefully bleeding will stop, but some people do just bleed a little. If it's heavy or bright red it is more worrying (although heamatomas can cause heavy red bleeding too - which happened to my friend and she thought she was miscarrying!) There really is just no way of knowing and unfortunately after we've lost any pregnancies we are prone to worry and I don't think my worry will stop until they babies are here!! Scans help of course, but I always worry again after anyway as something could change after the scan! I did get advised to use cyclogest rectally too. Don't really know if it helped or not! But I found it a lot less messy anyway!!!
Wishing for you it's not too much and all works out!!!! X
