fet today - insomnia? Will this effect my treatment today?

i have my fet scheduled today at around1-2 pm if embryo thaws well . I have not slept a minute , I am exhausted but could not sleep all night being anxious . Im worried will this effect my treatment today? I will come home and try catch up on sleep hopefully

I was the same and had my fet yesterday. Everything went well. Fingers crossed for you and hope all goes well. I did acupuncture before and after implantation as my clinic had recommended. When I got back to the hotel I fell asleep straight away

So sorry you are feeling so stressed about it. I don't think the lack of sleep will affect the procedure. Insomnia is quite a common side effect of the drugs and some people do IVF for secondary infertility - so are up all night with young children already. Resting afterwards sounds like a good plan though and hopefully you will feel better once it is all done. They might be able to give you something to relax if you are still feeling very wound up when you get there. Just be open and let them know how you are feeling. And good luck!!

Heya - hope today goes well. I don’t think insomnia will have a negative effect. I’ve actually had insomnia now for 3 days - I wake at 1.30am like clockwork and don’t get back to sleep til 5am. So am off work. I’m 5dp5dt, I understand it’s a worry but if the embryo is going to stick it will, regardless of your sleep. Good luck xx
