Had my first FET today. We had a failed fresh cycle back in July. Hoping for the best, and only have 10 days to wait before OTD on Mon 26th October. It was a 5 day blast, which thawed well and they said they were very happy with how it developed. The transfer wasn't fun but not painful like it was last time. Saw the white glow on the screen. Now I dunno what to do with myself, working tmrw and next week as usual. Any tips on what to eat, and is it wise to stay warm and eat warming foods? Have eaten some pineapple this morn. Excited but scared!! xxx

That's fab smallcat... Good luck with your 2ww My top tips would be stay as stress free as possible (I used the Zita West meditation every night, it's a good way to switch off and helps you nod off) I also went for short walks, went to the cinema and had a nice relaxing facial. Eat a varied diet but remember to increase your protein. They do say warming foods are good for the uterus like soups & stews. Dont apply any heat to your tummy apparently the embies dont like it. Oh and dont test early if you can help it Did you have your treatment at GCRM? x x
Thanks for advice, yes it's with GCRM. Thought they were really good and they definitely treat you like they care about you. I'm going to make some soup and may even try a stew. I will look at my Zita West book, didn't notice the meditation. xxx
You can download the meditation on your phone, here's the link for it if you want to copy & paste & have a wee nosey (I've got an android phone so it's available for that too)
Good luck smallcat! I think noodles covered it - relax as much as you can, no vigorous exercise, hot baths or saunas. Increase your protein and be good to yourself. My fingers are crossed for you!
Good luck smallcat, I'm in the same position as you - have been eating pineapple and making sure I keep my feet warm. Also listening to relaxation track before going to sleep..good luck xxx
Really sorry I have only just seen this post. It sounds like you've done the right thing moving to a new clinic. Good luck with this cycle I'm keeping everything crossed for you.
