Embryo Transfer Done & Now...2WW

Hey ladies,

We had our embryo transfer yesterday, phew! This whole experience has certainly changed me. This morning we got a call to say they have frozen the other 3 embryos, The other 3 didn't make it.

Yesterday was challenging both emotionally and physically. I'm Feeling better today but craving very salty foods.

The dreaded 2ww is here and I'm hoping it doesn't hit me too hard once hubby and other family head back to work on Tuesday.

My test day is on Monday the 3rd of June and I'm scared, I'm still in a state of disbelief that we have made it this far.

I hope everyone is doing well, or at least feeling loved and appreciated for the amount of hell we have to go through.

I for one I'm cheering for us all, scared but still standing xxx

Hey Sara! They tranfered one, we had mentally prepared ourselves for 2... they said it was best that way and to be honest I was like hhhhmmmm ok... lol.

I was told that my day one was the day of egg collection by the nurse at the hospital which puts the test date on the 3rd. I didn't know whether to consider yesterday my day 1... ahhh brain fried😫🤣

Aww Bless You 😂 I know its a Stressful Rollercoaster Ride all put Together but we’re Finally at the Last Stage Waiting for our BFP’s I was Praying till ET for 2 to be Transferred but I was Confident as I was put for 2 like my last Two IVF Cycles and on the Day of ET they told me yeah we going to Transfer 2 it just feels more Reliving but in the End it only takes 1, Ahh now I see why they gave you 3rd Date its Much better as I don’t know how Im going to Wait for 7 😂😂😂 but Thankfully I’ve got a lot to make myself Busy, Praying for Our Successes 🙏🏻 We got this Hun xx

I also just got my first embryo put in and am going for the blood test on 3 June! Try to keep busy during the 2WW - that is definitely what I will be doing so that hopefully the time goes by a little quicker.. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the both of us get the news we want to hear!!! Best of luck!!!

I hope things go well for you. Just try to stay positive! I know it is not really that easy but it's important to stay away from negative thoughts. I am sure you will get a positive result by the end of TWW. Take extra care of yourself. Make sure to eat healthy food that is full of nutrition. Also, drink lots of water. These things will really help your process.

Thanks so much. We are going through our next cycle at the end of June xx fingers crossed. I now feel in a better place and kind of know what to expect so going to keep with the positive vibes and believe it will happen! It’s all about timing well that’s what I think anyhow x

All I keep thinking is what if I’m not and I’m symptom spotting I shouldn’t be! Had odd bit of back ache and feeling sick but that’s it really xx

Hey Jess!

To be honest I've been feeling all sorts since the transfer 🤣🤣! However I keep reminding myself of what progestrogen does to the body & mind so I calm myself down.

Anyway I've had light headaches, cramps, and nausea xx

Like you I'm 2 days in to my 2ww.

I'm not going to test until my official test date, that's the only way I can stay focused and positive. It's not easy I know but try and hold off. It's too early to test love xx

Wow dats great that you received in good spirit keep da positive going in ur mind. Wen everyone goes back to work try to find little things dat u need to do to keep ur mind off of it. Dats a great idea to take lots and lots of rest. I didn't after my tranfer and I believe dats y it was successful. About to try again in july.
