I’ve just had a Day 5 FET and my hcg has come back at 17 on my first blood test. So it’s a wait and see! We have never gotten out the start gate before so I don’t know whether to be too hopeful or not. Has anyone had similar and had a good outcome? I’m 43 so I bit scared to get any kind of excited.

hello, how many days past transfer are you? X
I had the transfer 2nd Oct lunchtime and had the blood test morning of the 11th Oct.
Ok so 9 days past. Are they repeating your bloods in 48 hours’ time? They’ll want to see this number doubling. Too early to say what’s happening I’m afraid, try to distract yourself until you learn more. Thinking of you xx
I’ve had a low hcg result a few times early on, one was a chemical (ET) and one was my successful pregnancy (FET). The FET was definitely a bit slower to start too. I’d say it’s very early days so try to remain (cautiously) hopeful… will keep my fingers crossed! X
I was always told that the most important thing is that your hcg doubles when it's repeated which likely means cells are dividing normally and that you have a healthy pregnancy. Sending positive thoughts your way!
