LH starting to surge! Is this cycle doomed?

Went for scan and bloods today, this is day 9 of stimming with 300 gonal f and 75 menopur. Still had quite a lot of follicles up to 35 largest at 18mm and smallest around 10/12, nurse seemed very happy. Then this evening got a phone call from nurse asking me to come in for repeat bloods in morning as my LH is starting to surge, it’s 9.3 and told me to take extra certrotide injection tonight. She said we might need to abandon the cycle as it looks like I might ovulate. I’m booked in for egg collection Tuesday so HCG trigger would be Sunday night. Has anyone else had similar experience? I’ve myself convinced that it’s all over 🙈😩

What a worry! I'm praying you don't ovulate!! Couldn't they trigger you a day early? Best of luck tomorrow xx

Thank you, I’m hoping extra certrotide will keep all at bay and they will trigger to tonight for egg collection Monday. I will post here later with update xx

Just wanted to up date you all that my LH has dropped to 2.3 😆 so I’m still in the game but oestrogen has risen to 20,000 and I’ve 36 follicles growing so at high risk of Ohss. Consultant has decided to bring egg collection forward to Monday so I’m triggering tonight with Burselin and we doing a freeze all. I’m happy with that and glad we can continue. I had mild Ohss last time and it wasn’t pleasant and numbers higher this time so I feel it’s the right decision. Thank you all so much for support xx
