First Frozen Embryo cycle

Hey ladies

I am 3 days past FET (it was a 5 day hatching embryo that was transferred). My progesterone is low so I was given these prontogest. Oil progesterone shots. I am really struggling to give myself these and hubby is away. It feels like some of it just leaks out. Am I doing harm to the little embryo? I have scheduled a doctors appt Tomorrow (privately) to administer this shot but I am feeling quite stressed out that I have done harm over the last 2 days! And that it’s too late....

Maybe ask about switching to pessaries? Messier but easier!!

After my FET Dr wasn't happy with my progesterone levels and upped my pessaries. This was 7 days after transfer and I was stressed out that everything had gone wrong but it was fine - embryo stuck, no bleeding and I'm 12 weeks now. So try not to worry too much - some progesterone will be getting through and it's nice and early to correct any problems xxx

Try to warm up the ampules before (I’ve done mine by putting them into my bra for at least half an hour), they better then to administer. Try also alternative sides each evening, you can lie down on stomach if easier and get yourself injection (I’ve done this is possible) but recent cycle I’ve done while standing! Always choose place in your buttocks which has no lump from last dosage massage the place after often. And after injection don’t remove needle from buttocks straight away just let it stay for few seconds so it’s all is absorbs!

Me too has sometimes some leak but surely you doing its right! If you worry ask additionally for pessaries, this cycle I’m on both pessaries and PIO it’s hassle but it worked for now!

I trust PIO the most they are absolutely prime progesterone and absorbs quickly so don’t worry with occasional leak;))

Good luck xxx

I don't know much about this. However, its good that you have decided to visit the doctor. You never know if its okay or not. Everyone goes through a different situation. Just stay positive. I am sure there is nothing too serious. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way.

Hi there! I hope you are visiting a good clinic. That really makes a huge difference. If the clinic you are opting for has a high success rate then the chances of your success are also high. Good luck! Stay blessed!

Hi there

I am at Zita West. I do love my Dr there. I don’t know whether I am being paranoid but I sort of feel like it didn’t work. I have zero cramps, aches, flutters or any of the things that the other ladies experience. I don’t even feel like I am getting a period (although I am being short and bad tempered) so it’s defo not far off. It’s a lot of dissapointment, disillusionment and fear of what next!
