I’m panicking as I have got my FET booked for 24th, two days from now. My blood test shows progesterone level at 25 ng/ml yesterday which was about 2.5 days since start of progesterone.
I am pre-receptive and need to take an extra day of progesterone compared to usual cases. Currently taking 800mg Utrogestan vaginally and 25mg Prolutex daily.
I’m concerned the levels go too high and passes the optimum level.
does anyone know what is the best level on day of transfer? Or what’s the rate of changes?
This is my last chance in getting pregnant and I want to do anything I can to increase my chances.
I’d appreciate if you can share any information you have got.
thanks

High progesterone is way better that low and your levels sound good. I was on around the same as you in the lead up to transfer....my clinic wanted mine over 60nmol/l and yours (different units) is just over this....I even had my progesterone upped at my own request after transfer as we'dhad many failed transfers. I also required an extra day of progesterone.....we now have twins. Good luck.xxx
Thank you Cinderella5. I’m so glad that it has worked for you and you’ve twins.
There are so many different researches available and each say something different. My doctor is not concerned at all and has said they have seen live birth with progesterone level at 60ng/ml which is around 150nmol/l.
Hi! My progesterone level on transfer day was 25ng/ml and I started taking crinone twice a day on the day of the transfer and I'm currently 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant, but maybe ask your clinic if the dose will be to high, I wish you the best of luck
My progesterone was 190nmol (just after injecting) two days before transfer and 29nmol (just before injecting) the day after transfer. I have twins from that transfer. I was on 2x prolutex per day. It does fluctuate depending on how long it has been since your last progesterone intake. Vaginal ingested progesterone also doesn't show up as well in tests.
high progesterone is better than low, my progesterone on day of transfer was over 100pmol/l, I think it worked out as 57 no/ml - mine was modified natural so I was producing natural progesterone too but also supplementing with a LOT of progesterone. My previous two FETs I had had low progesterone and they didn’t work. This one did 😊 I don’t know if progesterone had much to do with any of it but it certainly didn’t hinder it. Good luck!
That’s great to hear high progesterone has worked much better than low.
My previous FET was failed. After transfer I found out that my progesterone was very low. So just hoping and praying that it is our turn to get pregnant.
hi Blulife I asked my clinic about progesterone today. They said they wanted a min of 35nmol/l the day before a frozen transfer and that there is no upper limit. Basically, you can’t have too much. Hope that helps!
