day 5 embryo transfer on 7th day of progesterone? Is this normal? Medicated fet?

has anyone had a day 5 embryo transfer on 7th day of progesterone? Started progesterone today but fet is on friday? Is this normal? Did you have success ?

Me and my husband are currently travelling to have a D5 FET. I started progesterone on Wednesday 14th and transfer is tomorrow 19th, so transfer on the 6th day of progesterone.

My progesterone was low on my last transfer so they will do a blood test tomorrow to test it to make sure it is at a good level, if not they may put me on Lubion injections.

This happened to me on my last transfer and I didn’t question it because it was a day 6 embryo so thought oh maybe that needs an extra day. But when it didn’t work my consultant told me in my follow up I’d been given a day too many and this likely would impact any chance of implantation. So I would definitely question this and ask for your transfer to be brought forwards by a day! Wishing you the best of luck xxx

I started estrogen on the first day of my period and only started progesterone 5 days before my transfer, on day 12 of my cycle. My transfer (also a day 5) was on day 17 - so 7 days feels ok, unless you think 7 is too long? They will tailor it to your response to the drugs, I would hope 🤞🏼 I worried they were doing the transfer too early but it has worked so far!

I started progesterone on the 20th of June and transfer was 26th so 6 days before and 7 days if you count the day of transfer or I started on the Thursday then had transfer following Wednesday. It was a medicated FET, currently over 10 weeks with a BFP, with a fresh transfer it’s always been the 5 days before but with down reg FET I’ve had it range for 7-5 days. Defo check with clinic if you are worried but this does sound okay to me as it was the exact same as I had recently with a BFP xx

Thankyou ❤️ so i called them and they said this is their protocol . 6 days of progesterone and on the 7th day the transfer . So happy you got a bfp gives me some hope xx
