I have planned my next FET for 24 of August. It’s going to be the 4th transfer with one miscarriage and two failed implantation so far.
I’ve got a few fibroids but one is partially in the cavity and it’s submucosal. I have done laparoscopic surgery and myomectomy to remove the fibroid but it was unsuccessful as the fibroid is mostly hidden in the lining.
Has any got any success stories and got pregnant with fibroids?
It’s my last chance and I think I’ve done everything I know to increase my chances. So scared and nervous about the results of this FET.
please share your thoughts .
thanks

Hi Blulife. This type of fibroid shouldn’t be too much of a problem as it is on the outside of the womb. Let’s hope this next transfer is the one that will stay. Good luck. Diane
Sorry to but in. I recently got a s fibroid. Accidentally found from gallbladder scan while in hospital. 7mm never felt pain , now pain like bad period pain. Are they painful? Can they grow,?
Fibroids can be cause pain depending on their type or position. Mine hasn’t caused me any pain.
They can also grow in size. It’s very difficult in different people. Please discuss with your doctor and monitor it through regular scans to find out if it changes in size.
If not attended, fibroids may cause issues but again the doctor has to check and advise.
hi Blulife, have you tried no sugar diet to reduce the fibroids. Please have a look at dr bergs videos on fibroids to remove naturally. Wishing you all the best
Really sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I have a history of multiple fibroids, I had to have a myomectomy with one that was the size of a grapefruit before I could start IVF. My consultant confirmed I had others and there was one that did encroach on my uterus creating a dent. My consultant was still happy to go ahead with IVF.
I did have success after several egg collections and 2 transfers. The fibroids grew during pregnancy but my baby still thrived and I now have an 18 month old daughter.
I know other women (friends of mine) who have had success getting pregnant and had to deal with fibroids during pregnancy. Unfortunately fibroids are quite prevalent in black women. They all went on to have babies even though their pregnancies were considered high risk so definitely possible.
All the best. Regardless of the outcome I hope you feel reassured that the fibroid is not likely to cause implantation failure. Mine was about 3 cm when I fell pregnant and grew to about 8 or 9 cm during pregnancy. 😳
