9dp FET should I test tomorrow????

Hi ladies,

I’ve had 2ETs and now on my 1st FET.

1st ET resulted in a miscarriage at 8weeks, and 2nd resulted in a failed cycle but got a few Frosties from it.

I had my 1st FET last Tuesday so 9DPT and the wait is killing me!!!!

Do you think it’s safe to test 10DPT? I’ve read lots of stories saying that it is for frozen but then lots saying it’s not.

The wait is killing me but then I don’t want to cause myself more pain if it’s too early, I don’t know what to do? Any advice or can anyone share their stores for FET?

Thanks in advance!

I tested yesterday at 9dpt and got a very strong BFP. My clinic always say you should be able to test at 10dpt but I have heard of some BFP not showing until 12dpt. It really is your choice. I wish you luck x

Awe thank you Hun! Congratulations on your BFP!!!

I am so desperate to test, the last cycles I tested loads but caused myself so much anxiety and heart ache but I’ve held off this time (well until now at least) I just don’t think I can wait any longer x

Thanks. It drives you absolutely crazy doesn’t it? We were definitely not testing until OTD on Saturday. We had scheduled our FET purposely so that our OTD landed on a weekend to process the result wirhout worrying about work, but I just couldn’t hold out any longer. I was losing my mind. Obviously I’m glad now that I tested early but in the past when I’ve tested early and it’s been a BFN it’s made it so much harder x

It sure is!!! It’s a very difficult sole destroying process but defiantly worth it when it’s successful!!! Congrats again and best of luck x

I would test. With my daughter I went into hospital with late onset OHSS on day 9 post transfer. I did a cheeky pee on the stick in the morning which was a very clear positive, later confirmed via beta. It was a day before OTD (which is a beta for my clinic). Had a FET three days ago with OTD Friday next week, so 11dpt. Will be tempted to test Wednesday or Thursday. Crossing my fingers for you! Any symptoms?

Awe good luck Hun wishing you all the success!!! Thank you so much I think I will pop to the clinic today and buy a couple ready for tomorrow morning and OTD! x

Hi, I’m 8dp5dt today, first cycle = twin mmc @9w, first FET BFN, this is my second FET. I’m going a bit crazy too!

With my first fresh cycle I had a lot of symptoms, the biggest being bloating starting 6dp5dt and I had a strong positive at 9dp5dt.

With my first FET I had a lot of symptoms which seemed to pass at 7dp5dt and I tested negative on 7dp5dt. It was hard to continue the drugs for another few days knowing the result and it broke me because I really felt the symptoms meant it would be positive.

This time I have symptoms again but given my last 2 attempts I really feel they are all related to the drugs, my OTD is 13dpt but I will be testing at 12dpt as it gives me 3 days off work to process what I’m expecting to be a negative result. That way I will be able to know for sure the result is accurate and feel comfortable stopping all my meds.

Good luck whatever you decide xx

Awe thank you Hun and sorry to hear your story but I have my fingers crossed for you!!!

I haven’t had any symptoms during my 2ww for all three, Even with my BFP cycle I didn’t get any symptoms.... but yes the meds’ defiantly play with your head and body don’t they!!! I think I will just have to test tomorrow so I can get my head around whatever the result before I start work again on Monday. Good luck on your test!!!x

Hi! I got my BFP on 7dp5dt this time. It was feint but it was definitely there! By 9dp I had a really strong line! Good luck with whatever you decide.x

My clinic say to test 10dpt and mine is FET. The first cycle I got a clear positive at that time . Good luck x

Hi hun, the 2WW is so crazy! I always test early as I can’t help myself 🙈🤣 I usually test from 5dp5dt. My one and only positive appeared at 6dp.

If you do test, beware that it may change as 9dp is still quite early! Wishing you all the best and I’ll have everything crossed for you xxxx

I’ve had 2 BFPs in my life - both strong lines - one was day 10 but had a miscarriage at day 15. This time round had a BFP on day 8! It was strong! Currently day 14 and hoping this one sticks. If I was you i would test but make sure you’ve not had a wee for 4 hours!!! Xxxv

Hi hun! I got my bfp after my first FET. My two previous ET ended with bfn. I was in the seventh sky, you know! Our body is very unpredictable and you never know what may happen. I'm not young and after thinking about my lifestream I came to the conclusion that all in good time. Everything that we have is coming to us step by step, day by day. Life is like a puzzle and we just need to look for the right part, just time is needed. Blessing comes to us when we have completed our life mission. If not, it only means that our time hasn't come yet. The brightest dawn comes after the darkest hours!

Thank you, dear! Unfortunately, my pregnancy ended with mc last month, but I'm okay and moving ahead) I'm signing a new program abroad, in August. This opportunity is the last one. We are proceeding with surrogacy with DE that increases our chances, I hope.
