I tested this morning and got a BFN. This is my first FET and I don't know how I feel. I felt nothing when I tested, I think I had already set myself up for disappointment, but I got back into bed and cried.
My fertility journey has been so long with so many setbacks due to my fibroids and this just feels like yet another one.
Are my fibroids going to win this battle? Would love to hear some positive stories about successful IVF with fibroids xx

I donโt have a positive story to tell about fibroids unfortunately but just wanted to send a hug, BFNs are hard and this journey is hard.. Take good care of yourselves xxx
Hi NatureLover. So sorry to hear this, but perhaps you need to have a consulation with your specialist, as to whether it would be best to sort out your fibroids before carrying on again. Yes, it is a huge knock back, but hopefully once the problem is sorted, you will be better suited to carry on and be successful. Thinking of you. Diane
Thanks Diane. I am under a consultant for my Fibroids who works closely with the IVF Clinic and had the largest Fibroids removed just over a year ago in quite a major operation with a view to then being able to start IVF. Once healed I had back to back IVF cycles last summer to freeze all my embryos as the operation had caused scar tissue in my uterus which meant my lining at the time wasn't thick enough for embryo transfer and I was due to turn 40 later in the year, so needed to do my cycles whilst still eligible. I've since had another operation to have the scar tissue removed and was given the go ahead to start my transfers at the beginning of this year. I still have small fibroids as it is impossible to remove them all but they are less likely to cause as many problems as the large ones (12cm being the biggest). xx
Hi NatureLover. That's good to hear. Not that I wish all that you've been through on you, but it seems as if you have a specialist who is properly looking after you. Good to hear you have some stored embryos, so fingers crossed you get some eventual success. Diane
Thank you. We still have 13 embryos to play with so I am trying to stay positive. I think as it was our first transfer and has taken so long to get to it, it was a big milestone for us but I'm not ready to give up just yet and will have another transfer next month hopefully x
