THIN LINING after cancer/forced menopause

Hello - can anyone offer any help with regards to thin lining. I am 48.

10 rounds with OE, 4 miscarriages

Breast cancer 2019 so had to have chemo which put me in menopause

Now trying with DE but lining will not grow more than 4.8mm.

12mg progynova, patches every other day, viagra, Pom juice, Brazil nuts.

Has anyone tried PRP - if so, is there anywhere in the UK that does it?

Thanks

hi,

Sorry to hear you’ve had a difficult time. I also had thin lining issues and could never get mine above 4.6mm.

I tried loads of things like you have, maximum oestrogen tablets and patches, Brazil nuts, pomegranate juice.

In the end because I have a few embryos I was lucky enough that my consultant let me go ahead at 4.6mm to give it a go. It was successful and that is now my 2 year old.

I’m not sure if that helps. Good luck 🤞🏻💕

Xxxx

Wow, Daisy - thank you. There is hope. How old were you if you don't mind me asking? I have a fresh transfer booked on Sunday as I said I want to go ahead anyway. My DE are on day 3 and I still have 7 that are doing well so I'm hoping for a nice Blast on Sunday. Thank you.xxxx

Hi Cdb1I can't advise on what you're asking but what I can do is offer hope....

I had 3 rounds of Chemo, was in menopause and 44 years old....

Used DE and fell pregnant on 2nd round using frozen embryos...

Now mummy to a wonderful 1 year old!

It can happen ❤️❤️❤️

Wishing you all the luck in the world xxx

Hey, that’s amazing news. It gives me a little hope but you clearly didn’t have lining issues. I think if my lining was responding I’d be a little more positive as I never had any issue getting pregnant with blastocysts, I just couldn’t keep them due to egg quality. My lining before cancer was always really good. I’m so pleased for you. 🥰😊xx

I don't know if you ever managed to find anyone in the UK who does endometrial PRP but I have been offer this treatment by Dr Gorgy at The Fertility & Gynaecology Academy in London.

Hope this helps xx
