Excited and apprehensive ahead of my first EC

Not been on here for a while as was feeling a bit overwhelmed and think I was reading too much, but now it’s finally happening and wanted to document my journey both for myself and if it helps anyone else reading!

Started stims on Good Friday and at my first scan on Wednesday I had 6 follicles - which given I have low AMH I was chuffed! Three on each side but they were developing much faster on one side. Yesterday I had my second scan and the ones on the left had all grown by 2mm with the biggest measuring 18mm. But only showed two small ones on the right side which is less accessible. I was originally pencilled in for EC this weds but because of the size of the bigger follicles the clinic have decided to move it forwards to Monday morning 😬😬

So today is my last day of stims and I take my trigger shot at 10pm tonight! Now it’s all feeling so very real!

Hoping I can get 4eggs and then praying they fertilise with icsi.

Would love to hear from anyone having EC next week as well!

Wishing you loads of luck LisaI know when you have low AMH it can feel really daunting but it sounds like your clinic have a good plan!

I don't have an egg collection next week but got my fingers crossed for you xx
