Me and my 2 follicles are booked for EC Monday!

Had my stims day 10 scan today. The two follicles we saw Wed seem ok, 17 and 18, so we're going to attempt EC Monday first thing, rather than cancel. There are two v small follicles there too, both 10mm, so am not expecting much from them. Who knows though, I might get a bit of luck at last!! I'm a bit less depressed today, think I got some of the initial shock and disappointment out of my system on Wednesday. It's hard though: 14 follicles on my 2nd cycle led to 2 blasts but a BFN so it takes quite a bit of optimism to think this cycle is going to go much further than EC with only 2 follicles. But hey, hopefully they both have eggs in them, and won't self-ovulate before we get to theatre!! No idea how we'll do with my husbands sperm either (we're doing ICSI as slightly low morphology, rest of the obvious stuff seems better than average), so we're really just going to have to think as positively as we can xx

I hope so too hun, hopefully yours will still grow a little over the weekend too. I’m ok hun, just currently on my 2WW, I’m due to do pregnancy test 20th June, I’m only 2 days in , it’s so hard to forget about it lol xxx

Awesome news Aurora, keeping everything crossed for you! I'm having my egg collection Monday too! Last scan yesterday showed 6 follies and two small ones. First cycle and I'm both excited and petrified!! How are you doing?

Ah that's lovely! I'm excited, but not TOO excited if that makes sense 😅. I know the odds of a good outcome this cycle aren't great but am having a relaxing weekend and trying not to dwell on it all too much. The good thing is, this next step is out of our hands now 🤷‍♀️Try not to get too anxious, if you can 💜 My previous two ECs were nothing to worry about , in the end! It's natural to be a bit nervous though xx
