Haven't responded to Bemfola 225 at all and have now had my medication upped. Got told my AMH is 6.4 and anything below 10 is considered low. I am 27 and never before been told about this. Completely devastated. Any kind words would be welcomed today 😔😔😔😔😔

Tracking scan and feeling awful.
I’m so sorry you’ve not had a good scan it’s a very stressful time. There are lots of variables when having IVF, a change in protocol can make a massive difference for example trying a different drug, switching from long to short for example. You may also find that upping the dose does the trick. The hard thing is we’re all Guinea pigs at the start and it can take a bit of time to work out what’s best for your individual body but I’m sure you will get there. Personally I don’t do well with any protocol where I am down regulated first, it does too good a job of switching my ovaries off that they don’t want to wake up again xx
Hi Itsalongjourney. Not what you want to hear, but perhaps with upping the dose, you will react better. An AMH of 6.4 is low of course, but perhaps using different medication you may get a better result. Just have to wait and see. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi sorry to hear you're going through so much stress. You may have other issues but i wouldn't stress too much over amh. It is only an indicator eggs are low but they are still there. My amh was1.7 at 38 and my husband had poor sperm. The nhs amh test a few weeks later showed my amh as 6.9 (still low but makes me a little sceptical about private clinics) I panicked and paid for icsi. I responded poorly and got 2 eggs. Only one made it to transfer and i had an early bleed. 6 months later i got pregnant naturally. Ivf is very stressful when you pin so much hope and finance on it but the fact that so many ivf couples get pregnant naturally after shows it is not the end of the road. I read it starts with the egg and took all the supplements suggested. I hope you get your happy ending soon one way or the other
Thank you. My husband's sperm count is on the low side slightly too and we have are doing ICSI which feels like a double whammy. I don't know what my AMH should be. Really disappointed that I've never been told this. In fact, the consultant doing our investigations said and I quote that I have 'lots of eggs' in our investigations. This has come as a complete shock and I'm really struggling to cope with it.
I'm glad things have worked out for you x
Sorry about your news, I'm sure you are very disappointed. However AMH does fluctuate, I've had a test that said 5.5 and then 1.5 a few weeks later!!! Also, we had a perfectly healthy child with an AMH of 8 (at the time) and only a few sperm so all is not lost. The clinic may have to play around with your meds to get the best result but it is still possible, many women have had babies with an even lower AMH. Check both your diets and remember that any changes you make take 3 months to take real affect (for you both). Best of luck
