Hi everyone.

There is no real point to this post although I know many of you will understand. I've just been feeling so down this week. I know it is because my 2nd due date is coming up and I'm also due on my period - the winning combo! When we started trying I had no idea how tough this road was going to be. IVF since Nov 2021 which resulted in 3 embryos, 2 MC and 1 failed transfer. I'm now just waiting to get started on the 2nd round. Maybe once we are going again I will start to feel better as at least we will be doing something again.

hello lovemusic1,

I just wanted to message and send you all the best wishes. I completely understand how you feel. Some days are worse than others but I also found the due date for my early miscarriage so painful.

Look after yourself over the next few days with lots of self care. This is 100% a marathon and it’s completely normal to have low points

Sending love and I hope you get to start again soon x

Thank you for your kind response. I was the same when the due date of my first miscarriage came around too so I know that is why I'm finding it tough. It definitely is a marathon and I am lucky to have lots of amazing supportive people around me.

Hi, just sending love and strength, I felt the same between cycles and definitely think it helps to be focused again on a treatment cycle and feeling proactive. You made more embryos than me, so I think that’s really positive and you have everything to look forward to in this next cycle. Keep going, you’re doing great and I wish you all the luck x 🍀

Totally understand you. I've had 9 cycles, one miscarriage and another 3 failed transfers. Been at it since March 2020 and seems never ending. There are days which are worse and I think it's ok to feel sad and talk and let it out. It's part of the process. Remind yourself how strong you are going through this because we all are and you are also lucky to have other positive things in your life. IVF is just one small part of it. I find that when I start a new cycle or I have a plan I then feel better. Wishing you the best of luck in the next cycle and for now just own your feelings and let it out. It will get better xx
