buserelin injections- where to do them?

Hi all, after a very long gap from IVF I am starting my down regulation tomorrow. Had a sudden panic on best place to start my injections. Where abouts on your stomach do you do them and is it upper outer thigh? Last time I did them all in my stomach but can’t remember exactly where, how low? Is it just below belly button or much lower than that?

hey! Good luck on your journey, I did them on the stomach below the belly button. I also alternated sites and sides each day! Xx

Good luck. I’ve tried lots of places but found injecting into fat much better than muscle. I carry a little weight on my tummy so that’s where I put it. About an inch below my belly button

Hi Bobby. Most ladies I have dealt with, have done them under the belly button side to side in a "smile"! Good luck! Diane

I’ve done them around the ‘fatty’ parts of the stomach. Alternating sides. I also iced the area a bit before injecting so it dulled the needle pain. In the buserline box leaflet it said to make sure you’re 5cm away from the belly button so I just kept that in mind.

hello Bobby10 where did you get Busereline? We can’t find it in any pharmacies (Asda and Zen pharmacy in London). They both said their supplier no longer supplies it. We need it as it is part of our cycle. Would appreciate you pointing us in the right direction. If you managed to get your hands on it! Best of luck with your cycle! Praying for your baby x

Hi, I got my meds through my clinic that use fertility2u. I got my Buserelin but my order arrived before Christmas. I hope you manage to get some x
