I am new to this forum and I am just embarking on IVF for the first time and feel likeI need a bit of moral support from people who understand!
Last night I did my first Buserelin injection at around 8pm, these are due to continue every night until I start my stimulation injections in around 10 days' time (I think?!!).
Today I woke up much earlier than usual and then started to feel horribly nauseas, anxious and unable to concentrate for the whole morning. Thankfully it has settled now it's the afternoon and I feel much more normal.
However I am quite concerned that this will last for the whole run as I literally couldn't do anything this morning, and kept feeling like I was going to vomit. Almost nothing worse than that feeling!
Has anyone else had this experience and if so, do you have any tips for things that help ease the nausea and any advice about how long this lasted for you?
Thanks so much!

I’m also new to this forum and starting my 1st round of IVF. I started buserelin injections 19 days ago and for the past 7 days have felt pretty bad with severe headaches nausea anxiety and emotional yuk! 😩 I’m hoping this passes and I do feel a little better today so fingers crossed x
Poor you, thanks so much for the info and I’m glad you are starting to feel a little better. I seem to have a low level nausea constantly and then suddenly it comes on strong in waves. Very early days though so who knows what’s to come! Good luck 🍀
I always felt quite headachy and tired from burselin, the main thing I found helped was drinking water and lots of it. Also I know it’s not easy but just try and rest when you can. Hopefully as your body adjusts to the meds it might ease a little x
Overall I’ve just felt groggy and sluggish. I found that going to the gym and getting my heart rate up a little, nothing too strenuous, has helped me. But it’s getting the motivation to do it, buserilin just sucks everything out of you!
