I will be starting on my next period my 6th cycle and I need to have intralipid infusions again. I had these before with my UK clinic at £250 each. Now that I'm going abroad for our embryo transfer I was wondering if someone knows clinics or nurses that would do these cheaper? I'm based in milton Keynes
Thanks everyone!

Thanks. Well the only positive I got was when I had them and prednisolone, although sadly I miscarried at 12 wks. Si I think they are worth it when one is diagnosed with natural killer cells... but they are sooo expensive....
Gosh £250 is cheap. I'm paying £495 a pop for mine! Were you doing yours in London? I'd loss to find a cheaper place to do it. I'm guessing the quality and dilution would be the same?
I’m having to have these in Essex and they are 250 a pop. I think this is adv price... I’ve never had them before but only just found out I have NKC so hoping they work.
I think they really worked for me, together with prednisolone. The whole thing was very easy and I actually found it very relaxing laying on the bed until the bag finished! 😉
I’ve just finished having them with bourn hall and they are currently £375 they have gone up £25 this year I got a shock when I payed on Monday for my last one. I’ve had 4 over the last 4 months. Xx
Im not sure if London is an option for you but this company used to do intralipids(not sure if they still do) and you'd need a prescription from your clinic but its perhaps worth a try. Independent Nursing Services 020 7580 9442. They seem to have an online booking system too.
Many thanks. I will try them as I just got a quote from a clinic in London that is supposed to work with my clinic in Czech republic and they also charge £250
Its so flipping expensive isnt it, they really do take the mickey so bad in the UK. Its costs a fraction of this overseas! I usually have an infusion when Im over for embryo transfer which is worth doing too. If you have any nursing friends that can put in cannulas they could do it for you too. I struggle to find anyone that will do them in Scotland at all! Good luck.xx
P.S Prestige nursing is another one that may do this for you as I know others have used them but may depend on where you live and I think you would need to get your intralipids prior too.xx
I went through my paperwork and found the descriptions. The circled ones where the ones recommended to me. The cost was £2k and it was a 4wk wait.
This was after my 3rd failed cycle and the clinic actually pushed for it. I did have the same symptom though in every failed cycle until then, which was that I felt really ill on the 2nd day of the transfer. It could have been 40 degrees outside and I was trembling and feaverish. Turns out this is a classical symptom of raised NPK cells, as the body fights of what it thinks it's a threat
Steroids are really risky and as far as I know no one will prescribe them unless they have solid evidence that you need them. I do find it very strange though that they are reluctant to test you...
2k to test for killer cells?that's crazy.my consultant doesn't believe in it so won't test and nor does another consultant I've seen actually so no one is helping me😣you said about circling something?have you sent me something?I can't see if so.lol sorry x
