Has anyone used Tostran as part of their ivf medication?

I’m just a starting my next round of IVF and have found out I have low AMH of 1.3. The consultant has now upped my meds and included Tostran gel from today for 21 days.

Has anyone used it, and how did you find it etc?

Hi! Never heard of it to be used for IVF but I looked it up on the internet and it's testosterone.

Hi there, can't really offer any advice as yet but I've been put on this for my next round of IVF too so I'm starting it on Tuesday. I did find it odd that they wanted me to use testosterone but anything is worth a go! When are due to start it? Xx

Hey! I started it yesterday 😊 I have to use it for 21 days until I start my stims I think! I’ll do it if it helps too, just never heard of it 😂 and not many people seem to have used it!

Ah ok, well good luck with it hope it works for us and we get the outcome we desperately want 🤞🤞. I'd not heard of it either until my clinic mentioned using it but it must do something for them to suggest using it. So fingers crossed for us.

It helps to improve quality of eggs, there was a study that found testosterone has better results than dhea

Hello lovely, yes I used it in my last round beforehand. There are several studies providing evidence it may help with quality. My most successful round so far, albeit didn’t get past five weeks,, but in comparison to previous rounds it seemed to help. I was fine using it no nasty side effects x
