Failed first FET - how to improve egg count for next cycle?

Hello lovelies 🌷today was my btd with my one and only frozen medium quality embryo and unfortunately I’m not pregnant (thanks progesterone for giving me all the false hope during the 2ww). I now need to start from the beginning with hormones and potentially produce my eggs it’s so mentally draining. I am 30 years old and have low AMH so I already have the realistic mindset of not growing as many eggs as possible. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do or take to help boost egg quantity? Last time I had 6 follicles but only 4 eggs were collected 3 fertilised and 1 made it to blast which has now resulted into a negative. Any help or suggestions would be greatly welcome. And good luck to everyone that is currently in the 2ww 🤍

Same boat here re failed first transfer 😢 I was kind of prepared as I got normal spotting, cramping and bleeding a few days before OTD. Will be starting from scratch as only one blast and no Frosties. Good luck xx

I am very sorry you had a negative on OTD. I know how soul crushing this feels. If you haven't already, I really recommend reading 'It all starts with the egg' - there are a lot of recommendations for life style changes and supplements. Our consultant told us antioxidants help with egg and sperm quality and recommended Proxeed (they have male and female formulas). We also took Coenzyme Q10 in the form of uibquinol, vitamin D spray and probiotics. Very best of luck!

Yeah knowing I need to go through the egg collection again is daunting but I’ll work on bettering my eggs in the meantime. Thanks for the tip I actually heard of ubiquinol so it’s hepful to know you’ve also used it and I’ll definitely be adding that to my daily intake ❤️

Exercising, reducing stress, improving sleep pattern and getting proper nutrition can all improve egg health. Ask your clinic what supplements they can recommend to improve your fertility. Plenty of fruit & veg- whole grain foods ie brown rice, oats and wholemeal bread. Avoid too much sugar and processed foods, ready meals

Good luck
