ovitrelle in natural fet

hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone’s had experience/ success with 3 doses of ovitrelle in natural fet. The 1st dose was taken 3 days after LH surge, 2nd dose will be day of transfer and 3rd dose 3 days after transfer

My clinic doesn’t give progesterone, I’m just a little confused as I can’t see any research online on given 3 doses of ovitrelle for luteal support- Plenty of information on using as a trigger.

Also if anyone has taken it 3 days after transfer, how long did you have to wait to get an accurate positive test?

Hi. I had Ovitrelle in both my fresh transfers, no progesterone given either. Unfortunately neither one worked but I think unrelated. I've now moved clinic and am about to have my second FET with donor eggs. It's medicated so I'm on progesterone injections but I'll also be having 3 doses of Ovitrelle starting from day of transfer as I did with last unsuccessful FET. I have some immune issues so don't think the failures are in any way related. I don't understand the science but I know its not uncommon to use Ovitrelle as luteal support. Wishing you lots of luck with this.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. It’s reassuring to know the clinic I’m at isn't the only one using ovitrelle for luteal support.

I asked them for progesterone as well but they would only agree to give me progesterone support from day of positive pregnancy test- seems counterintuitive to me but I have to keep reminding myself to trust the process and the experts.

I had my embryo transfer today so now in the dreaded 2ww.

Hello, I have just found your post as I am trawling Google for a similar question. I am on a natural FET cycle and similarly my clinic has given ovitrielle 3 days after natural ovulation, day of transfer and 3 days after and has refused to give me progesterone until a positive test, even though my history is recurrent loss.

We transferred on Sunday and I took my last ovitrelle yesterday and today I am feeling ovulation cramps which is weird.

How did things go for you in the end?
