Natural FET this month

I’m back!

Quick reminder, I have 2 PN embryos frozen (frozen on day one !)

I have no idea if they’ll be good enough quality to transfer or let alone survive the thaw . Therefore I have chosen natural frozen cycle. Seemed too much of gamble , taking all the meds with a day 1 embryo, given my history of not much luck 🙈

I’m completely new to frozen transfer, I’ve learned so much on here from you lovely ladies, thank you. I wasn’t going to be given a trigger but after reading most on here have I enquired about it yesterday at my first scan . My consultant ordered one for me . But if I hadn’t asked they wouldn’t have mentioned it? I do not understand this. Is it normal to have trigger or not?

Anyways I had my scan yesterday (day 9) . All was fine, I go back on Monday (day 13) .

Are there any tips or things I can be doing? I guess I start ovulation testing from today?

Anybody else doing a natural frozen same time as me?

Hi Rol. Just wanted to wish you well with your natural FET. Even an early frozen embryo can do well once back inside you where he/she belongs. Worth having the trigger shot if your Fallopian tubes are OK, shame to waste tje chance of an egg/ Just eat sensibly and go for walks and try and keep busy. All the best. Diane

Hi Rol. You may have read before when I said about early day transfers when I first started on the fertility business, as we didn't have the expertise to grow embryos on to Day 5 etc. Hopefully your Day 1 will carry on dividing oncee back inside you where he/she belongs. Good luck! Diane

So they'll thaw it Tuesday morning, starting a couple of hours before transfer time. Hoping it makes it 🙏 xx

I didn’t have a trigger with my natural FET - I think it just depends if you’re doing totally natural or modified natural. Good luck!! 🤞🤞 xx

Hi xx I was meant to do totally natural and I might still, my clinic close on Sundays so it’s incase my ovulation day is off . So it’s incase, I think. Tbh I’m completely clueless re: frozen procedure. Doesn’t feel real without the million injections. Thanks xx

Ahhhh ok! 😊 my clinic still do things on Sundays (just aren’t open for phone calls etc). It’s very weird not having any meds, isn’t it?! I’ve got some progesterone because I had spotting last cycle, but my consultant only gave it to me for reassurance. Otherwise it would literally be nothing! Good luck! 🤞🍀 xx

I know, it’s very strange , seems too easy but then remember how many injections we did just to get to egg collection 🙈Hope you’re feeling ok today. Are you injecting progesterone or just cyclogest pessaries? X

Just the pessaries but utrogestan ones. 3 x a day. I’m only 3dpt today but already struggling with the unknown 🙈🙈 how are you getting on? Xx
