You definitely need to trust your clinic. It’s really important to note you can’t compare dosage of drugs so for example 150 of Menopur is potentially different from 150 of Ovaleap. Max doses of drugs are different so as they have switched your drugs you might find you are actually on a higher dose even tho it looks the same - some are more potent than others. Good luck! x
I imagine your clinic will have factored your AMH, age and previous response into your new protocol. I have always been on highest dose so 300 Ovaleap and 150 Menopur but I started IVF aged 44. There is an argument to say that perhaps a lower dose might have clustered together my follicles better especially in my earlier cycles when I was getting 18 or 19 follicles at baseline scan but only ever 5 or 6 eggs because they grew at such varying rates. If they decide once you have startrd that the dose is low for you they can increase the dose if you are not already on the highest dose though. I had better results with ovaleap and menopur than with another protocol with fostimon and meriofert and my previous consultant said Ovaleap was a better drug than menopur which is why he didnt just put me on Menopur like some consultants do! All the best with it. I would trust my consultant but ask as many questions as I needed to in order to understand why they have done what they have done and how they think it will benefit me and why that dose etc
