Pink spotting 10dp5dt

Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone can give me some advice.

I’m 10dp5dt - medicated FET. Tonight I noticed a little pink spotting when I went to the loo. Not a lot, but enough to see on a pad. When I put in the pessary about 2.5 hours before there was no sign of any bleeding. I’m not due to test until 15dp and am not keen to test early.

I’m on utrogestan pessaries x3 a day plus a Lubion injection (as well as progynova, clexane and prednisolone). It’s my 9th transfer and last embryo. Previously I’ve had a chemical, but mainly BFNs. My first four transfers I used cyclogest only and didn’t bleed before OTD. I started bleeding a little the night before OTD on transfer 5 so Lubion was added for transfers since. I don’t usually spot between periods and cycles are regular.

Has anyone had this during the tww despite being on pessaries plus Lubion? It’s not red blood, at least not at the moment, but I want to brace myself if a full period is the way this is going. I don’t really have any cramps or period signs at the moment. I can’t do much tonight except try to sleep and hope it’s not a full bleed by the morning but hopefully someone here may have some words of wisdom!

Hi, I had some pink spotting from the pessaries. They make you very sensitive down there and I had scratched myself during insert. I didnt even notice any pain or discomfort when I did it. It stopped after a few hours and all was fine 🙂

Thanks for replying. There was no more during the night but some again once I was up and about this morning. It’s more of a pale pink tinge on a pad than spotting (sorry tmi) so hoping no cause for concern 🤞

Hi Belle! It could possibly be an implantation bleeding too. A brown or pink small blood could happen when the embryo burrow itself into the uterine lining. I had one at 8dp5dt. Best of luck on your otd. X

Thanks for the reply. It feels really late for implantation (was late on day 10)? In any case it cleared up pretty quickly so I'm relieved it wasn't the start of a full bleed

I had implantation bleeding from days 8-12. I thought it was my period starting but on day 14 for my otd I got BFP. I’m now 21 + 5 days. Implantation blood is pink or brown cos it’s old blood so the actual burrowing of embryo could have happened days ago.

Hopefully it’s implantation bleeding! I had some spotting in the TWW and was convinced it was my period coming. Wishing you lots of luck 🍀 ❤️

Thank you I am thinking it's more likely it was from the pessaries than implantation given it was on day 10, but time will tell. After so many transfers I honestly struggle to envisage it being a BFP but at the same time will be devastated if it's not

I know its kinda late to reply, but how was the result of your case? I am very new to IVF and currently in my first cycle of fresh transfer, i got pinkish spotting today, in my 10dp5dt. I am so sad and heartbroken.. Thank you in advance...

I was wondering if you mind sharing the result? I just had incident like you while putting in the progesterone pessary and noticed blood in my finger. I’m freaking out because todays is my 10dp5dt. My beta is in 5 days and this is my 5th round. Usually before my beta is on the 10th day and it was always BFN and the next day was full blown menstruation. I’m not confident and very anxious. Really hoping to hear from you.
