FET Cancelled as started spotting

Anyone experienced this? I was on medicated cycle, buserelin, progynova and lubion injections for progesterone and started spotting 1 day before planned embryo transfer. Doctor said there was too much blood to go ahead and my period should start properly soon after (which 5 days on the spotting has slowed and definitely not a proper bleed yet). No explanation from clinic apart from it’s a hormonal problem, not fibroids or anything like that. Just expecting this to happen again now. Anyone had similar experience? Thank you x

I don’t have experience of this but I had a failed cycle because I did not down regulate on Buserelin, my lining remained thick, I insisted I didn’t want to do the same protocol again but they talked me into it and I down regulated perfectly. Nobody had any idea why it didn’t work on my cancelled cycle but I guess I’m just saying that every cycle is different and although this has happened this time it’s not guaranteed to happen again. Thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear of your experience but reassuring that the following cycle it worked out better. Appreciate that as at the moment I am just feeling like my body won’t ever do what it needs to do xx

Yes this has literally just happened to me! ☹️ Very frustrating. I didn’t have a lot of blood, but was spotting so they did a scan and it showed moving uterus lining not suitable for transfer. I stopped pessaries / Progynova and carried on with buserelin, had a period and then started all the drugs again plus estrogen patches. 💪 good luck warrior xxx
