Pink spotting 8dpt

Hi all, I'm currently on day 8 post transfer and when I went to the toilet I had some pink spotting, I remember experiencing this after my first transfer (currently on transfer number 5) and I got a BFP although sadly ended in a MMC and I know it can be implantation bleeding but would day 8 be too late for this? I have had some cramping in my stomach and lower back pain which I've also experienced before when I had BFP's, I know it could also be down to the utrogestan pessaries,I'm just praying it's not AF. I don't usually get my period during the 2ww even when it's been a BFN but I know each time is different. I'm going to completely relax today and just pray all will be ok. Any reassurance from you ladies would be welcome xx

Yes dear it could be implantation bleed and u know ivf journey is so uncertain.

Even am on day 6 post transfer...but no symptoms and I guess I am done as I have no embryos left ...😩....

Don't be too disheartened no symptoms doesn't mean that is hasn't worked, in a previous 2ww I was convinced I would get a BFP due to symptoms but it was a BFN so as you say the journey is so uncertain,I really hope you get a positive outcome x

I’m ok, nothing new just waiting for some extra tests via clinic in Athens before we try the next embryo xx

in reply toOrla9298

Have they suggested what tests they recommend?

I'm not doing too bad, the bleeding has stopped so I'm really hoping it was implantation bleeding,I'm trying to be as positive as I can x

How are you doing today?x

Hi,

Progesterone pessaries can irritate your cervix and cause spotting like you've described.

A little spotting does not mean necessarily something is wrong. Try to relax and rest, it may be implantation bleed! When is your test day?

xx

in reply to

Thankyou for the reassurance, I am having a PJ day today as I'm off work this week. Test day is Tues, booked in for a blood test but going to do a home test Sun which will be day 12, I will have been off work on leave for 2.5 weeks by the time I go back Mon and worried about how I will cope if I get any bad news whilst being at work.

How is everything going with you? X

I also took some time off work on my last FET to relax and rest and it worked for me! I'm 24 weeks pregnant :) The first few monts were very hard with lots of episodes of spotting and bleeding but now everything is going fine.

Wishing you a BFP on Sunday! Sending you lots of positive vibes!

🤞🏼 xx

Thankyou and huge congratulations, glad everything is going fine now and hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly,it's such a shame that we can't really enjoy the early stages of pregnancy either due to bleeding or anxiety but try enjoy every moment. I look forward to seeing your baby update xx

Thank you!!

I'm very grateful for reaching this milestone!

I guess the worry never goes away, specially after so many losses! But I'm VERY happy and trying to enjoy every moment!
