So I'm now 8dp5dt... I've just been to the loo and when I wiped a brown discharge ( not red or pink but brown )

There's nothing there now?

is this the beginning of the end....?

Could be just the pessaries irritating things. Stay strong until test day, you're very nearly there!!

Thank you, just feeling a bit down today have been crying this morning over work of all things then this bit of brown... Feeling like I would if my period was due...

If it makes you feel better, I was crying over my lunch that fell on the floor at the weekend! I was distraught over it!! I blame hormones and it's the same for you, with all that progesterone. The whole process is really emotional and stressful and with these crazy hormones, it's magnified. Sometimes it's good to have a good cry and get it all out. They always say brown blood is old blood, so there is plenty of hope still. If the weather is nice, get out with the dogs for a walk and clear your head a little. x

Hi Tlove,

I've just had half an hour in the garden with them and now back in the office. I hope it is just hormones messing with my head and not my period starting, I have tried to be so strong and matter of fact throughout the last few months and today I think it's just all hit me.

I'd cry too if my lunch went all over the floor!!!

Thank you again for your reassurance, I am going to finish work in an hour or so, make tea then just veg out and early bed.
