I’ve just done my first injection of Gonal-F and all was going well untilllllll…I got the needle stuck on the pen (there had to be something!). I’ve tried and tried to screw it off using the cap but it just isn’t budging and I’m not hearing a *click* when I put it on.
Has this happened to anyone? What did you do? I’m with the NHS and have a scan Friday so was thinking, I just tell the nurse then? Any help would be appreciated!!
For now, I’ve just put the cap on and the pen back in the fridge so I don’t spend all night twisting and twisting!
Luckily I have other pens but I will need to get this cap off or get a replacement to complete my treatment. xx

Hello!! Same thing happened to me - i just put it on too tight or maybe it was slightly off. I just took it into my next scan and they sorted it for me 😊
I think I must have done the same thing, although it didn't feel that tight! I will have to be extra careful with the next pen. Thank you - I will let the nurse know and bring it along Friday! Glad I am not the only one 🙂
