Gonal F

Hi all,

Can someone please help...once Gonal F is opened is it still stored in the fridge or can it be left at room temp? I’m really confused as in the past I’ve always stored it in the fridge but on the leaflet it says once it’s opened it can be stored at room temp..

I was instructed to keep Gonal F in the fridge even when open xx

I was instructed to keep it in the fridge. Generally once medications are opened there is more of a reason to keep them refrigerated.

Thanks everyone, I decided to keep it in the fridge as before. The instructions confused me! Also emailed my clinic for confirmation on what to do so will see what they say x

I agree the instructions are a bit confusing. I decided to keep in the fridge as well.. but usually it’s ok to leave it outside for about 28 days when opened there after you can’t use it. Storage under low temperatures is important when we do not have a defined « « use time » but?m it’s tricky to have to ensure it’s stored under 25degrees always 😀

I was confused by that too. Defo clinic say fridge even after dose. Must be best way to ensure it’s in top nick for the stims etc!

Quick question on this thread if i may. Im just about to start STIMs for my erd tound and have some gonal-f left in fridge from last round end of july. Best before on it is feb 21. Do u think its ok to use or shall i throw. TIA
