Gonal F and Scan No 2

Hi everyone, I am new to this website and was after some info! I have been on supercur since the 8th of September and started gonal f on the 22nd September so have been on gonal f 10 days I went for my first scan Friday and have another scan tomorrow morning! Wanted to know what happens after the second scan!? Thank you in advance x

Hi I am on the exact treatment plan as you. I have been told my 2nd scan is tomorrow and will be looking at egg collection Wednesday or Thursday. It will just depend on how your follicles are progressing. How are you finding it all? Xx

Hey Katrina, thank you for coming back to me wow we are on the same schedule! So following tomorrows scan egg collection will be two days after!? Do I need to book time off work following the collection?

It could be slightly longer just really depends on how everything is going with you and how busy it is at your clinic. I didn't with my first cycle and really struggled as I had a lot of pain so this time I have booked off two weeks from the day of egg collection. How are you finding everything? Xx

I wasn't advised by the clinic of when egg collection etc would happen so I haven't booked any time of work and don't want my work to know what I'm doing!? Is this your second ivf treatment!? So you had a lot of pain the first time round?? x

How did your scan go on Friday? Yes this is my second cycle has a failed cycle in march. I did have a lot of pain but I know most people only have mild cramping. I had a lot of pain due to having treatment on my cervix last year which caused me to be very distressed during the start of egg collection but they soon dosed me up with sedative and I remember nothing about it x

Mine went really am booked in for egg collection on Wednesday at 9:30. How about yours? Xx

We're at the same stage. You will be told if your follicles are big enough to go to egg collection in 2 days, in which case you will take trigger tonight or if they need a little more time and have a third scan in 2 days. The latter is happening to me at the moment. X

Thanks. I've been told to reduce my injection dose tomorrow and then nothing on wed morning before scan because of my estrogen levels. Strange. X

I didn't take any time off after egg collection I was just a bit tired. X

Morning lovely hope your well wow I'm so pleased for you so you have already had your trigger shot? I go tomorrow for another scan let's see what happens .... Ekkk are you still at work at the moment and can you go to work once you take the trigger also what time do you take the trigger!? xx
