Second period late after Unsuccessful FET

Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well 💜 I had my fifth FET in December and it was a BFN. No babies at all. This has been a really 4year long journey. I had my first period after the BFN normal, but know, for my second period Im late for two weeks. Currently I’m on day 42 of my cicle. Has anyone experience this before? I would really appreciate if you can help me on this. Thank you very mucha an Have a good day!

After my first fresh cycle which resulted in a chemical...my period was late too 😒 So late that I took a pregnancy test! 😅 It was negative 😒 After medication it can take your body a little while to settle back to normal routines. I now ovulate about 2 days earlier than usual since I started IVF. So IVF may have done a "hard reset" of my reproductive system...hopefully for the better! 😄 So if you are worried, take a test if you want to and ca your clinic 😊 I think thrown off cycles are a pretty normal thing while going through IVF. Hi Limmma. So sorry to hear this, but it can take up to 3 cycles to return back to what is normal for you. If not settled by then, see your GP. Diane

Hi Limmma, sorry to hear of another failed round. I’ve had 5 failed FETs and found that the period straight after the BFN is timed normally, but the cycle immediately after is always long - it’s torture. Not sure why but I figure it’s to do with the meds used during a medicated FET.
