Cold before Fet

Hi,

I’m due my transfer for fet on Wednesday and I’m feeling lousy with the cold. Just wondering if I can take lemslip along with progynova and cyclogest? So annoyed for this to have happened so close to my transfer after waiting for months to get here.

Me too, I really understand what you feeling, I will transfer on Monday, and I got a heavy cold two days ago, the clinic told me don’t take any medicine except hot water or lemon honey water! Luckily I am better now, hope everything well Monday! Take care yourself, it’s will be fine Wednesday! Fingers crossed for you!

As long as it doesn’t contain any anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen then I think it’s fine. Perhaps you could make your own with lemons, honey and paracetamol? It’s just as effective. Hope you feel better soon xx

Thanks for your advice. Appreciate you taking the time out. I’ve had such a busy day and been having honey and hot water. Hoping this goes away. X

Avoid Lemsip, just take paracetamol and drink lots of fluids. Lemsip contains a decongestant which wouldn't be recommended if you were pregnant x

I’m sorry you are feeling under the weather 😔 Actually a dampened immune system isn’t a bad thing... means your body is less likely to resist implantation... it’s like a little alien invasion after all 😂... I had a cold this time around and I’m now 24 weeks! Convinced my badly timed cold actually helped me. Keeping fingers crossed for you xxx

I never thought of it that way. I’m going to try and remain positive thoughts this time. Such great news. I wish you a healthy pregnancy. X
