5wk 5days pregnant, brown spotting

After finally getting our positive through ICSI, I now have brown spotting and terrified I'll miscarry. What should I do?

Had a similar thing happen to me a few days ago. It’s apparently very normal. But do ring your clinic for reassurance.

Hope it goes well. Don’t forget brown blood is old blood so that’s a good sign. Bleeding is common especially in ivf pregnancies.

I also had brown spotting at 5wks 5 days which then became a really heavy red bleed for a few hours at approx 6 wks (no cramping). Went to EPU and had scan which showed heartbeat and no obvious cause for the bleeding. Continued spotting brown blood for approx 1wk after, viability scan at 7wks showed all developing as should with a small SCH. EPU and my clinic said it's really common especially in IVF and if I had severe cramps then should worry. I know firsthand it's impossible to not worry, fingers crossed for your scan tomorrow.
