Hi Ker1. So sorry to hear this. However, the pulling feelings you are experiencing, could just be down to your womb starting to grow a little. The spotting is so common and often no reason is found. However, it can sometimes happen when the lining of the womb is starting to evolve into a placenta, which takes some weeks. Hopefully all is well and you will get your reassurance when you have your scan and meet your little "bean". Thinking of you. Diane
Thank you so much for reply.... its so terrifying its driving me mad, i'm keeping positive and trying to keep up beat but very hard. The spotting is only there when i wipe and i had no need for a pad, which is good. This is my first round of ivf so everything is new, it seems to be spotting more in the morning then it dies down!? I just hate going to toilet now dreading i might see something. : (

Hi. When yu lie down, blood collects, so when you get up it leaks out. It could even be coming from your cervix possibly being irritated by pessaries?? Diane
My nurse said that, she has told me to use them the other way, i feel fine in myself i think if anything was wrong i would feel funny in myself? So i just have to keep strong and try to carry on like normal!
Thank you x

Hi Ker1. So it's not the pessaries. There are so many changes going on in your body during the first weeks of pregnancy, and if you read past posts on here, so many of you ladies get spotting, which naturally panics you. Just carry on as usual and have a rest when you can, and hopefully all will soon settle down. Diane
Okay cool Just keep on looking after yourself and phone your nurse if you have any concerns. Don't be worried to phone your nurse, it's what they are there for xxx
You say you are having a scan and bloods to rule out a few things, what are they ruling out? I'm unsure of the pulling signs hun I really don't know about them. I have just had an ectopic pregnancy, and I want to remind people that contacting health professionals isn't silly, and neither is looking after yourself. I have never had a healthy pregnancy, so your pulling signs could well just be your body adjusting and getting used to your little one growing. Don't let your nurse fob you off, are you in an early pregnancy unit? I would say take it easy and contact your nurse if you have any strange pains.
Oh I'm sorry to hear you have had an ectopic pregnancy before, it's heart breaking isn't it! I had my left tube removed and the surgeon said my right tube is damaged, so natural pregnancy is now highly unlikely, but enough about me.
Ok that's good that you're in with the EPU, mine were very thorough and caring which is great, are yours? All I can say is just be vigilant, keep an eye on symptoms and any new ones. Don't worry that it might be ectopic again, because it might not be! You seem like you are keeping an eye on things!
I know the wait is so annoying, try and rest though and take your mind off it, as worrying will upset you. Look after yourself, I'll be thinking of you xxx
Sorry to hear that Hun, it is a stressful time. But don’t be disheartened I only have one tube too! My baby is ivf baby so I have heard so many things, that this cramping can be normal.
My ivf client is good, they have booked me in for scan on 26th feb.
But I’m going to my EPU near me coz if everything goes well that’s where I will have my little bean.
IVF is our next step, I'm nervous about it to be honest, we had no idea that I had any problems with my fallopian tubes despite having investigations on them, so we were trying naturally as told to, then had this ectopic.
I'm glad the EPU have got you in, my EPU saved my life. If they hadn't have kept upping my appointments when I phoned, I would have been in a terrible state, I already had lots of internal bleeding Xxxx
You will be fine Hun I promise, I have know since I was 18 I had problems I have every gynie problem! I’m 31 now and the ivf journey is amazing 😉 just relax and take things as they are.
I will keep you posted about me, if ever want to talk just message me Hun my name is Kerry xxxx
Thanks hun, just feeling quite emotional and got some pain in my stomach beside my belly button today but just had first week at work so I suppose it's getting used to it.
Same here hun, please let me know how you get on, thank you for all your help! My name is Kirsty xxxxx
