3rd FET: 5 weeks pregnant and brown spotting

Hi, today i am 29dp5dt which is 5+ weeks pregnant. Today i eat mashroom n eggs. in lunch i meet sheep trotters.now i went in toilet n see brown discharge with awful smell. now it turn to red spotting. i am so scared n can't contact in clinic till morning. i am so worried n broken. i don't know what should i expect.

A bad smell could mean an infection, I hope you get to the clinic or the doctors today and they can see what’s going on, and treat you, good luck xx

Bleeding turns heavy and having big clots. But i trust on God still hopefull. Going for scan in an hour.

I had spotting and bleeding on and off from 5weeks to 8 weeks and it was a hematoma. So it could be that. Don’t worry too much but contact your clinic when they are open again.

I had heavy bleeding and clots and it was ok but I know it can go either way.

It was okay. We see gestational sac, fetal pole and heart beat. Dr said pregnancy is still here. And put me on cyclogist 2 pessaries twice a day.

That’s fantastic news! Yes good to be on more progesterone. I really hope it all goes smoothly! When I bled really heavily I was convinced I’d lost the baby but then we saw the heartbeat. Was so reassuring. I’m now 15 weeks so hopefully everything will continue well for you.

for me it was luck of estrogen and I started also at 5 weeks. My clinic made a mistake and told me to stop the estrogen but as soon as I took it it went away progressively (lasted 3 weeks).

I’ve now started pink spotting at 9 weeks and my clinic says it happens to 90% of patients and it’s due to the medication.

Bleeding in IVF is very common. Ask the clinic if they can do a scan for you or you could also go to EPU. Good luck and keep us posted x

It was okay. We see gestational sac, fetal pole and heart beat. Dr said pregnancy is still here. And put me on cyclogist 2 pessaries twice a day. Also antibiotic for infection. I was taking estrogen tablets wrong way. I was taking it with glucophage n timing was not right.
