Day 2 of Stimming - egg sharing LWC UK

Anyone else started stimming?

I’m on day 2 of 225 Gonal F.

I haven’t posted on a forum like this for 12 years (when we first started this ivf journey). I have an 8 year old (born from nhs ivf) and we are now on cycle 2 of egg sharing. I lost a baby after FET at 9 weeks in March of this year and it has been the worst time of my life. I thought it might be good to reach out again instead of trying to do it all alone, especially as everything feels so different now after a loss.

Thanks for reading :)

Hello :) I’m on day 6 of stims…round 2 as last round didn’t go very well. I hear you on trying again after loss. The last pregnancy I lost was in February and it’s been the hardest time I’ve been through as well. Here if you want to messageX

Hey 👋 I was just wondering how you’re getting on now? Hope you’re doing okay. Feeling okay? You must be close to egg collection?! X

I start stimming tomorrow…also Gonal F. I have a 3 year old boy from a successful round of IVF. We had a failed FET in January which was a hard time for us.I am so sorry for your loss - I have everything crossed for you for this round.

Look after yourself and reach out if you need x

Hey sianie - how are stims going for you so far? With that little fella of yours running around, I can imagine it to be hard at times, especially after the loss as well. Ive found all the tests and scans so far, a bit triggering - but what can we do? My boy is 9 in December, and I am managing to chill a bit in the evenings which is helping, as I’m 🥱 exhausted! Hope you’re doing okay x

Hi Both- thanks for replying :) I always get a bit of fear posting on things like this, that no one will chat lol.

We all seem to all be in a fairly similar place then. I’m so sorry you both have had those losses too. I felt really changed by it all. I was usually quite energetic with treatment, but after losing our baby, I’m quite scared and apprehensive at the thought of that happening again. I used to wish the days away in treatment, and now I’m happy to go one slow day at a time, in fear of the important transfers that are in the future. The thought of a 2ww and then a 40ww…. If I dare to imagine, all sounds terrifying.

Anyway- how are things going for you Cassie? Things looking and feeling alright?

Sianie- hope your first day goes good today :) what dose of GF are you?

I’ve got scans next Monday/Wednesday and Friday to see how everything is…
