I had my first FET, thankfully the home pregnancy is positive today, day 11 after frozen FET but after 4 natural miscarriages i am super stressed about another miscarriage. For the last 2 days i’ve had spotting and cramps, first pink, today brown.
My clinic says it’s impossible to know at this stage what is causing it and could be normal but i am really struggling to stay positive as this is how all my miscarriages started.
Does anyone have any advice?

Spotting and cramping can be so nerve-wracking. It's reassuring to hear that your clinic considers this could be normal. After my first DE transfer, I experienced spotting on and off for the first 12 weeks, and that DE gave us our rainbow baby. Take it one day at a time. I am rooting for you. All the best!x
Your positive story give me so much hope, i am not 18 days past FET and spotting has not stopped, it’s so stressful i can barely cope with it. All the best to you and your family
Big breaths and keep as busy as humanly possible! Spotting hideously common. I had it on and off until 2nd trimester too. I know how awful it is though and had several miscarriages too. Sometimes it’s just the progesterone or your cervix.
I know our clinic had a counsellor you can try to speak to if needed.
I’m so sorry, spotting and cramping is awful but quite common with ivf like others mentioned. I had pink, red, and brown spotting from 5 weeks to 9 weeks. They couldn’t find a reason why and I’m now 13 weeks and doing well so far. Hang in there.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it does give me hope that I am one of those cases and the spotting will stop eventually. All the best for you and your little one!
Hi! I hope things are going well, I wanted to share my experience... with my first girl, I spotted and cramped rather dramatically for the whole first trimester. I did hemorrhage her placenta which caused heavier bleeding and some clumps.. but ultimately she made it and is now a beautiful 5 year old. With my second there was no spotting, no signs of pregnancy at all I was 100% sure it failed. And with My current pregnancy there's been spotting off and on but cramping is constant, I hit 3rd trimester monday. I did have a miscarriage before this little girl stuck, and there was only slight spotting for 2 days, and then an onslaught of heavier bleeding 2 weeks after my positive test, followed by almost immediate dissappearance of HCG.
Each pregnancy took longer and longer... my current pregnancy took 2 years of persistence and mind numbing struggles... I hope with every fiber of my soul you all recieve your sticky baby soon.
Thank you so much for your reply, it’s these positive stories that keep me floating. I am now day 18 after FET and the spotting has not stopped and some days are better than others. I try to believe that a miscarriage does come quite fast when you properly start bleeding but each day is such a struggle. All the best to you and your baby girl!!
Hi I am similar to you, 20 days after FET and spotting has started today. I’m trying not to stress but it’s hard as I’ve had a miscarriage around same time with previous ET. Hoping you got a scan and had good news
Really wishing you the best outcome and hopefully to reassure you, at the 6 week scan all was ok in my case with the embryo, there was a hematoma in there probably causing the bleeding and i am having another scan at 8 weeks. They did increase my cyclogesf to 3 times a day as my progesterone was a bit low, so fingers crossed for you to get positive news at your first scan! Hang in there, i know it’s nerve wracking but spotting as long as it does not turn into full blown bleeding should be ok
That’s brilliant your scan was ok. I’m going to book a scan for reassurance. I will be 6 weeks tomorrow. I’m hoping I’ve just got spotting it is very light . It’s just hard not to worry as my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage
