changing medication from Menopur to meriofert

last icsi cycle i was on 150iu of Menopur and 75iu of Gonal f.

This time the clinic has suggested using Meriofert 150iu and Fostimon 75iu.

has anyone has any experience switching medications and what the difference is?

HelloI have just gone through my second stimulation cycle and changed from menupur to meriofert/fostimon. First cycle my follicles grew unevenly with a few far ahead and then a bulk slower ones and resulted in 7 eggs/2 embryos (non worked). This time the growth was much more evenly and I got 8 eggs/3embryos but with not as good quality. No idea if medicine did any difference but am in 2ww now from the fresh transfer. I felt fine with both of the medicines so no real difference there for me! Good luck with the cycle ahead!! X

Thanks Tessan1. that's good to know and good luck on your tww. I responded well last time 12 Eggs and 11 fertilised but only 1 made it to day 5 for the transfer. Our infertility is due to my husbands sperm quality.Hopefully this time we can get more to blast - who know x
