Mock cycle then Hysteroscopy then lining issues

Hi Ladies:

Hope you’re all well out there. I hesitated even asking this, because I don’t know wjat difference it will make. I had a perfect Mock cycle in October, lining thick - almost 9 etc. Then, I had my first of 4 hysteroscopies to take out a polyp. After, I had a canceled FET because there was scar tissue/adhesions from the hysteroscopy. So I had another hysteroscopy. And two more after that. Now, I get fluid from all the estrogen and my lining never gets as thick. I did get far enough to do a FET in May but it ended in a chemical pregnancy. I am about to do another one but just don’t understand what changed? Is it being on estrogen all this time? Is it the surgeries?? Do I need to accept the new normal as being this?

I’m so desperate. I have beeb trying to conceive for 600 days… had had multiple losses. I know a lot of you have been struggling longer and been through worse and my hearts go out to you. I know it can always be worse. I just want this so much. For us all. Xoxo

Hi 2wwques. So sorry to hear that you have been through so much with all the hysteroscopies/scans etc. Hopefully you are good to go now, just got to keep an eye on the extra fluid - ? why that is happening. keeping everything crossed for a smoother ride next time, and for succes. Diane

I haven’t got an answer for this but thought I’d share my experience. I had 1 hysteroscopy in Dec prior to a Jan implant, and they cancelled the jan implant due to fluid. I was cross with my clinic and followed up with the original surgeon who scanned me a week later to show me that there wasn’t fluid. She explained that hormonally with oestrogen peaking in the cycle you would naturally have more fluid, but as progesterone takes over, this reduces. This is what she believed they’d seen in my clinic. She was also an IVF specialist so I stuck with her to do my FET 2-3 weeks later and I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. I’m not sure what the impact of several operations are, but I am aware that I did have more fluid after mine. Perhaps worth asking them to scan during your cycle so you can see if the fluid reduces with progesterone?

Hope they get to the bottom of it for you. Wishing you lots of luck X

Yes, thank you. The progesterone has made it go away the last 2 times. I just wish it wasn’t there at all

Btw congrats on being 31 weeks!!! That is a dream come true for me. I pray for an easy few weeks and smooth everything from here on out for you! Xo
