Pomegranate juice

I am on estrogen patches ahead of FET next week. My lining was 8.42mm today. I have read about people drinking pomegranate juice to help their lining. Is this just when it’s not thick enough or just to help sustain it? I have another week of meds and don’t want to do something that makes it too thick!

I drank loooooads of pomegranate juice as I thought it helped blood flow 😁 my lining was fine, just the right thickness. My transfer didn’t work but the pomegranate didn’t make it too thick! X

I’m really paranoid about doing something to mess it up! 🙈

I know what you mean, I wouldn’t bother tbh - I don’t think it’s a game changer! I think just follow your protocol and you should be all good. If pomegranate juice was a golden bullet our clinics would be telling us to drink it 😃

Wishing you lots of luck ♥️

I’m having a shot of beetroot juice with a squeeze of fresh ginger… healthy and harmless xx

hi Doodlebug23

I drank pomegranate juice for 2 weeks from the day of transfer and it tasted awful. I was successful but I agree with Elsidee11 if it were proven to work every clinic would recommend it.

It was one of those things I added that I figured it can’t hurt.

Good luck 🤞 sending you lots of baby dust xx

Ah ok from transfer day.

Yeah I know it’s just another add on but we will try anything won’t we! 🙈

Thankyou x

I've been drinking fresh pomegranate juice every day for a couple of months to try & thicken my lining up ahead of transfer & noticed no difference whatsoever. I've never tried it post transfer however.

I agree though it's psychological as need to feel we're doing something 😂

I might just drink it after transfer to feel I’m doing something!

I drank a lot of pomegranate juice (not the carton concentrate stuff but the bottled fresh stuff from the fridge at the supermarket) before and after the transfer and also ate lots of fresh sliced pineapple including the core - best of luck :)

I’ve done pineapple so thought I’d add pomegranate! He of 5 a day if nothing else!!
