Hi, I had embryo transfer on Friday 30th July, on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd August I had twinges and lower tummy and groin area cramps which I was hoping was implantation.
Tomorrow is 14 days after embryo transfer so we go for our blood test to see if we're pregnant.
But tonight (13 days after transfer) I've started light bleeding and having some tummy cramps.
I'm on Progesterone Vaginal Gel and have been since the day before embryo transfer. I take it twice per day
Has anyone else had this and gotten a positive pregnancy test and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby? Or does this mean we're not pregnant?
Please help xx

Hi. I’m kind of in the same boat as you. I have been taking progesterone pesaries since 2 days after my egg retrieval. I was having stomach twinges/ cramps a couple days after starting them. Then I had my eggs transfer on the 10th august and ever since then my twinges have gotten a few more frequent, before the twinges were on the left hand side where they tried to get into my left ovary but they couldn’t. Now my twinges are either central or on right side but also quite close to my groin area. I have also been getting really tender boobs and started having dizziness and nausea. I do feel bloated or full but I also have a weird sensation in my stomach which is hard to explain. I have got to wait until the 23rd for my test day and I’m like you but I have had no light bleeding at all. I hope you get a big positive but try not to stress or over think about it. I know it’s easier safe than done but your best staying calm as much as possible
It's different for everyone , but I had 4 attempts for them to do my transfer on fourth time it was successful. I had a brown discharge and light bleeding kept ringing the clinic they just said be patient do a pregnancy test and go from there . Unfortunately mine was negative. But this doesn't mean yours won't be positive. Everyone's body is different. Stay positive. We are going to try again. My age was a factor in mine was told only 10 per cent chance of success. X
Hi sparkle. By now you have probably been for your test, and obviously I hope it is positive3. meanwhile, you can get the symptoms you decribe from urine infections and irritation caused by using progesterone pessaries. Do keep an eye on your urine output and also be careful you don't get constipated. Good luck! Diane
