BFP ❤️ Second transfer this time around

Hi everyone

So we did a pregnancy test and it was positive!! This was our second transfer as last month it failed.

I wanted to share some information in the hopes it may help others. With my first bfp and pregnancy I got a bfp after three transfers and three years later it took two transfers.

Both experiences during the 2ww were different. In my first I had no symptoms just the odd twinge. I also had implantation bleeding and the day of transfer a bit of bleeding. The first time was using triple the amount of progesterone, I was taking prednisone, aspirin and clexane.

This time I had major period cramps after day 2 and still continue to do so. I also did not bleed after transfer and no implantation bleeding. Medication was a third of what was given to me at previous clinic, no prednisone, no clexane and a third of the progesterone and a baby aspirin.

This I’m hoping will alleviate anyone’s concerns about symptoms or implantation bleeding because either way could be positive.

Similarities between both is both instances my transfer date was moved up by two days. I have no idea why the clinics (we used different clinics) did so. I just put my trust in their decisions and hoped it work.

I have my hcg today and then will be doing a second blood test next week. So hoping all is good.

Congratulations 🥳 can I ask what day you tested after embryo transfer? Was it a day 5 embryo? I had major period cramps on day 2 also and still have cramps. Also have sore boobs, nausea, lower back pain, heightened sense of smell and cry at nothing. I’m hoping this is good but so scared to test. Thank you for posting x

It was a day 5 and I first tested 5 dpt but it was negative and then on day 9 was a positive. I wishing you all the best of luck in the world. When is your test day?

Hi, thank you so much for your reply! I caved and tested today !! I’m 5dp5dt and it’s positive but test day isn’t until the 9th of June !! This is the photo of my test! What do you think? Wishing you all the best for your future pregnancy xx
