Failed 2nd ivf

Well I’m officially out for this 2nd round of ivf.... took a test today at 11dpet and I got a bfn and to top it off I’ve been spotting light pink but this morning I have af cramps really bad! Well so save up for round 3.....

I am sorry to ask this question in such difficult moments for you but I am 44 soon 45 and never had IVF. Starting In June consultation and nurse next day...I am not really familiar how much it will come one IVF and how much will be second or third. You mentioned saving up...will be same cost over and over or it can be saved from something?

My clinic does one full price and the next half and it stays like that half price but the meds prices do not change at all...

Every clinic is different and in other countries it different as well I know some do packages

I am sorry to ask but which clinic offers half price next IVF. I chose CRG... dont know if names are allowed. Absolutely have no idea how much it will end up. Once i read someone saying they chose Care F...as they price to freeze each embryo. and my clinic i see price is 3800.So shocking. So maybe i will change the clinic as i read more and more here in this forum.

I am having mine done in another country sorry I can’t be as much help but it is 3900 for the first and 1545 after that not including meds

We planned Istanbul as we have place to stay but it would be too stressful as we wont be alone but surrounded by many many people and may cause conflicts so decided to stay here. Sorry to ask again but can i do IVF and stay abroad on my own or the partner must be there? Or maybe he needs to be with me only once for sperm collection

We’ve done three rounds at a London clinic, two with our own eggs and one using my sister as a donor.

We’ve spent £40,000 in total

A friend of mine went abroad and her partner only needed to be there for their tests, and sperm collection

My husband works a lot so it was hard for him to be off especially since they depend on him a lot so it was best he just stayed with me for the sperm collection and when they did the transfer does have to but he did for one

Oh yes and for the test how silly of me yes he needs to be tested so they will end up doing 2 Soren collections and blood work

Does men need blood test or only sperm analysis? We have also urine test and blood prick test for Syphilis, Chlamydia, Hepatitis...from SHL (done home ) for me and him

Yes I am I’m planing on waiting at least 6 months until my 3rd round our body goes through so much I was already crying almost every time for my injections of frustration... I did my first round in March then my next this month may so it’s a lot to take in

Yes and time to lose all this weight I put on be cause of the medication.... I’m in a good head space not down as much sad but not down depressed my journey is not over as my husband says we will just have to keep trying!

I am sorry to know you are going through this. Do you know the reasons why IVF failed? Has your doc offered combining treatment with PGS NGS to boost your chances?

No he hasn’t giving me as to reasons why kind you I am able to conceive I just tied my tubes.... not knowing I was going to get married and we’ll he wants a child which he aswell can have kids he has a daughter so we are wondering as to why
