Hi lovely, I stopped taking mine after egg collection as I was taking them to improve quality. I then started taking them again after 2 weeks break in case we have to do another cycle. How are you getting on? Where are you at? Xxx
Thank you for confirming my lovely. As this is my final cycle and like you I was taking it for egg quality, I was just wondering when is best to stop taking them. I am unlikely to do any more egg collections after this.
My egg collection is tomorrow! I have been carrying around this small fear that something will go wrong but trying to take each day as it comes.
I will keep you posted. Take care and have a lovely day ❤️
I know some people continue to take it as I believe it acts as a bit of an antioxidant - but I was taking so many supplements I literally couldn't wait to stop!! Best of luck for tomorrow! There's always a fear because there are so many steps to go through before you can transfer - just take one day at a time.
Hi, my wife was taken ubiquinol, which is the same as C0Q10. She stopped taking her supplements the night before egg retrieval and had a good result, best of luck with your egg retrieval x
Well to add, I continued taking COQ10 till I got a positive pregnancy result that was when I stopped. I even asked my doctor and he asked what supplements I was on and I told him. He said continue all supplements. I was taking COq10, foliate, vitamin C, omega 3, vitamin D and natural prenatal.
I know this is two months ago but incase its of any help at this time. X
I’ve been taking pretty much all the supplements from the It Starts With the Egg book and the only one my doctor said to stop taking after egg retrieval was the DHEA and said to continue the others until I get a positive pregnancy test then stop taking the CoQ10 (and can stop some of the others and swap to different ones after that).
