So sorry to hear about your losses. There are a heap of investigations clinics can do once you have 3 miscarriages to look at immunology, clotting problems, and I think genetic testing as well. It is nothing you are doing so please don't blame yourself. xx

I already did most of these test and everything is fine, but sure I will dig deeper and ask for more test if available. I actually stated blaming myself and wondering if I should put myself on bed rest next time 😓

Are you taking enough progesterone support for your body? Maybe get it tested x

In my first and second I did test and they said everything is normal. However, it kind of make since to my..I think I should discuss it with my my new doctor. 🙏🏻

I watched a programme on miscarriage and most of the recurrent miscarriages in the same weeks were to do with progesterone. There isn’t enough in the body in that week. If you had miscarriages in different weeks it could be something else. Please take more progesterone and I bet you will get further in your pregnancy. I really wish you the best. X

Was going to suggest this too. My friend was telling me how her friend miscarried with her first (at 5 weeks) and saw a specialist afterwards who put her onto progesterone. Went on to have 2 babies after that.

I’m sorry you having to go through this heartache.

Like HMKing says have you been given enough progesterone? We have done 3 rounds of IVF our last round was a donor egg round. With donor cycles the recipient automatically had to do a medicated monitored cycle which is like a dummy run.

It was here they discovered that the 2 x cyclogest pessaries were not enough and I was only at half the limit they would expect so gave me prontogest injections, on top of that.

We had a BFP on our first ever go, MC before the 7 week viability scan - so it makes me wonder if it was due to my progesterone levels.

Our second round we had the embryos PGTA tested and they were all chromosomally abnormal hence why we chose to do a donor round!

There are lists of tests out there. There is an ERA test which test the receptivity of your lining, like the others have said immunology tests etc.

I hope you find answers

I am so sorry to hear about what you went through. I got a positive HCG for only couple of weeks and when i lost it I was so depressed and thinking of giving up. You are a hero for trying again and again 🙏🏻. Sure I will ask for every available test this time, praying our dream come true very soon ♥️

We have tried working to a process of elimination with what knowledge we have. We haven’t let our hearts rule our head no matter how upsetting things are - I come on these forums and read people’s stories/advice I research the internet to try and find answers - it doesn’t work for everyone but I feel that’s how we have come to where we are today xx

I would if you haven't already get a referral to a miscarriage specialist. I'm so sorry for your losses . I've had my 4th loss in March - 3rd in a row ( loss at 20 weeks last November , chemical pregnancy in January and loss at 7.5 weeks prior to the losses I had a chemical pregnancy before our 22 month old daughter) I emailed Tommy's midwife who I found extremely helpful- she gave me a list of investigations I could consider. I can pm you the list of tests she suggested? I've got a video call 2 weeks on Friday with a miscarriage specialist and I'm hoping to get to the bottom of these losses. To have just one miscarriage is devastating but to have several one after another is extremely distressing 🥲 I hope you can find what is causing your losses Xx

Hi Jess, would it be possible to PM me the list of tests the Tommy's nurse suggested please? I have had 3 early miscarriages and my doctor isn't looking to do any further investigations 🙄

Of course I will. After 3 miscarriages in a row you are entitled to be referred to a miscarriage specialist Xx

Guess what, in my country you need to get 6 or more miscarriages to see a specialty 🥲.. unless you fight for it. And the insurance might not approve all the rests. I would love to have the list i will try my best to do most of them. Every time i do IVF I go through Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, so hopefully I find the cause this time. Thank you a lot for your support 🙏🏻

Oh my goodness I am so shocked and horrified to hear that you would have to suffer 6 losses- I thought 3 in a row was barbaric 🥲 I will definitely pm you the tests the Tommy's midwife suggested. I hope you can find out the cause of these losses. Xx
