What should I do?

I had a failed medicated FET last cycle and at my follow up they said I could try a natural cycle for FET and I could do that straight away. I was really pleased with this until I realised I have a stressful time coming up which will happen during my 2ww.

What would you guys do? Has anyone else ever had to put off a transfer because of stressful circumstances on the horizon? I'm really impatient to get going but I don't want to ruin my chances with my other good quality blastocyst. Has anyone ever been advised to delay due to stress? I will chat to my clinic about it tomorrow but just thought I'd see what you think? I'm really 50/50 whether to wait till my next cycle when everything will have calmed down a bit.

Also, if I did choose to continue as planned this cycle does anyone have any relaxation tips?

If in doubt, put it back another month - your little frostie isn't going anywhere :) Good luck xxx

Yeh I think put it back a month too. If it didn’t work you would always wonder if it was because you were stressed xx

I know how you feel I was really stressed out and impatient after my first failed cycle and wanted to start ASAP with my second. However, we had a massive family holiday to Florida planned for my mother in laws birthday and if I had got pregnant when the cycle would be due then I would be too pregnant to fly. So we decided to delay the cycle a few months as it would cause a lot of problems within the family if we pulled out of going. It turned out to be the best decision cause not only did I get to go on the holiday with everyone I also had a successful cycle and had a growing little man in my tummy when we went. So I’d say if you need to delay your cycle then do it you well be in a much better place to face it when the time comes around again. Take care hope all goes well for you xx
