TTC Month before FET

As the title says, I’m just wondering if it is safe to continue TTC prior to FET?

I am due to ovulate naturally later this month, but approximately 7 days later on day 21 of my cycle (so therefore too early to test for pregnancy) I am due to start Buserelin as part of the down regulation for my FET.

If by some miracle we were to conceive later this month, I’m worried that starting the Buserelin may have a negative impact on the pregnancy.

Does anyone have any experience of this or has anyone sought advice from their clinic on this at all?

Any advice much appreciated.

Hey. I was told to use protection on the cycle i was starting buserelin. Worth asking the clinic perhaps x x x

Hey, we gave it a go! Sadly it didn’t work but I didn’t want to “waste” a month. I was told by my clinic that if I was pregnant the medication wouldn’t have an impact if it had only been taken for a few days xx

Oh right, it’s so conflicting how different clinics have different opinions. I guess the best thing to do is to contact our clinic and seek some clarity. I appreciate your response though thank you xx

Definitely ask your own clinic yes, mine told me it’s not uncommon for it to happen and it wouldn’t be an issue if it did x

My clinic told me to keep trying and that they have ladies get pregnant during this period. It is strange how clinics vary with advice!

It’s crazy isn’t it how every clinic gives different advice. Surely the outcome is the same for everyone!! I’m going to double check with my clinic just to make sure! It would take a miracle for it to happen naturally anyway so I don’t know why I’m worrying! Thanks for letting me know x
